What has been one (1) marketing strategy that has helped your home business succeed?
For me the one strategy that has helped me is : THE PERSONAL TOUCH. In the wake of the technology avalanche business owners rely so heavily on email, chat, text messaging, virtual assistants and systems just to name a few, which are all very much needed in building business and continued growth. However, I believe that The Personal Touch is critical to any business success. I feel that business owners hide behind their computers screen and stay submerged too long in cyberspace, that they forget to come up for air and connect with people who are buying their products or services.
To me my clients/customers are the reason I started my business so therefore, I must make them a priority and let them know that I value their business.
There are simple ways to stay in touch with customers/clients on a consistent basis:
- Send a birthday card
- Send a thank you note personally written by you
- Give them a gift for being a VIP client/customer
- Call them on the phone and make them feel special
These are just some suggestions on how you can connect with your client/customer base. As a small business owner you must realize that you need to set your self apart from your competition especially the Big Shots. You do this my adding The Personal Touch and trust me it will mean a great deal to your clients/customers. They don't care how much you know, they want to know how much you care. Add meaning to their lives, solve a problem and provide value and you will have a LOYAL Client/Customer for Life.
