About Ms. Dishmon:
Mrs. Undra Dishmon is happily married to the love of her life, B. Rod Dishmon and
together they have four children who are 31, 27, 22, and 8 years of
age. They have two grandchildren that they love dearly and a beautiful god-
daughter and one daughter-in-law. Undra have been a foster parent for 15 years
and have had the pleasure of having eight children that she helped to raise in her
home and they have given them three additional grandchildren.
Undra is a graduate of Malone University where she received her Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Organizational Management and Marketing. In addition, she attained
her Associates of Arts Degree from Cuyahoga Community College. In 2012
Undra retired from the City of Cleveland where she worked in the Department of
Public Safety and the Division of Water for 30 years, however, she is now working
in her passion, which is teaching children.
Undra and her husband co-founded the Dishmon Development Center (DDC)
where their mission is to strengthen families by empowering and educating
children and mentoring youth into productive citizens. At DDC, they teach Charm
& Etiquette to children ages 7-17, additionally, their Boys N2 Men program and
SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is second to none.
