We are currently accepting submissions for upcoming print and digital issues. Being published in SistersRise! offers contributors national visibility, professional credibility, and the opportunity to connect with an audience of powerful women in business.
Publication Schedule
SistersRise! Magazine is published six times per year, both in digital and print editions.

May/June – RSRWBA Anniversary Issue
November/December – Holiday Issue
Each issue features exclusive profiles, thought leadership articles, and community spotlights showcasing women who rise in business and life.
Submission Categories
1. Feature Story
Feature stories highlight women who embody excellence, innovation, and leadership. You may nominate yourself or another woman leader for consideration.
Requirements:
700–1,200 words
One professional, high-resolution headshot (must not be AI-generated)
Optional lifestyle photo or candid image
Brief bio (50–75 words)
Social media handles
Willingness to share your feature across your platforms
Note: Only authentic professional photography will be approved for features. AI-generated headshots or “enhanced portraits” will not be accepted.
2. Articles
We welcome original, insightful articles that educate, inspire, and empower women in business and leadership.
Topics may include:
Business growth and scalability
Leadership and mindset mastery
Finance, wealth building, and funding
Marketing, visibility, and brand storytelling
Technology, AI, and innovation
Work-life integration and wellness for women CEOs
Community leadership and social impact
Requirements:
600–1,000 words
Actionable advice or thought leadership tone
Up to two relevant links within the article
1–3 supporting images (JPG or PNG) — AI-generated images are acceptable for article visuals only, not for portraits or headshots
Author bio (25–50 words) with one link
All submissions are reviewed for editorial quality, tone, and originality. SistersRise! reserves the right to edit for clarity and length.
Contributor Resell Policy
Contributors featured in SistersRise! Magazine may purchase and resell copies of the issue they appear in for no more than $35 USD per copy.
Digital reprints and bulk order options will be provided after each issue’s release. Contributors will receive purchase and resale details directly from the editorial team.
Formatting & Image Policy
Title: Up to 150 characters
Length: 600–1,200 words
Author Bio: 25–50 words (with one link)
Graphics: Must include verified image sources and credits
Photography Policy:
Professional headshots must be authentic and human-photographed.
AI-generated portraits or stylized headshots will not be approved for features.
Supporting images within article content may be AI-generated if labeled accordingly.
Any image lacking a source or credit will not be used.
Copyright & Permissions
By submitting to SistersRise! Magazine, you confirm that:
You are the original author or copyright holder.
You grant SistersRise! non-exclusive rights to publish your content in our print, digital, and online channels.
You retain full copyright ownership of your work.
Compensation
SistersRise! Magazine currently does not provide monetary payment for editorial submissions. Contributors gain exposure, professional recognition, and print/digital features that can be leveraged for branding and publicity.
Deadlines
Submissions are accepted year-round.
For consideration in specific issues:
Submit at least 60 days before publication.
Early submissions receive priority placement.
