Welcome to Real Sisters Rising Women Business Association (RSRWBA), where we believe in helping women find the Diamond in their Destiny. Founded in May 2003 by our esteemed CEO, ShaChena Gibbs, our association was born out of her personal journey of self-discovery and passion for empowering women. At RSRWBA, we are a group of like-minded women with a common goal: to assist women in rising up to their full potential.
Originally, RSRWBA set out to support women in becoming successful entrepreneurs. However, as Ms. Gibbs grew and evolved, so did our vision. Today, our goal extends beyond entrepreneurship. We strive to empower women to become financially literate, actively engaged in their communities, and equipped to overcome the issues of self-image that many women face today. We are passionate about redirecting the spotlight and letting women know that there is more to life than relying solely on government support. RSRWBA is committed to guiding women through the transformative journey of taking control of their own situations.
What sets RSRWBA apart is our diverse community of women from various backgrounds. We are not here to point fingers and dictate what women should do; instead, we say with empathy, “We’ve been there, done that, and even complained about it.” However, we made the conscious decision to change the course of our destinies by altering our thoughts and actions. Now, we are here to assist you in doing the same. RSRWBA is built on collective work and shared efforts. We are here to support the Career Woman, the Business Woman, and even the Unemployed Woman. Whatever field you need a support system in, RSRWBA is here for you.

Our mission is to promote economic empowerment, with member participation, networking and training workshops where quality professionals of diverse cultures meet new contacts, build relationships and grow businesses, connecting quality people to quality resources worldwide.
Our Vision
Our Purpose as a group of women young and old, we will be working together to provide resources, education, networking opportunities along with advocacy and promoting self-awareness within our communities.
