In May 2003, ShaChena Gibbs founded Real Sisters Rising out of her own journey of self-discovery — a commitment to turning personal transformation into collective power. What began as a community of women supporting women has grown into a 23-year legacy that has shaped how hundreds of entrepreneurs build, position, and lead.
As ShaChena evolved, so did the vision. RSRWBA expanded from a networking space into a full business growth ecosystem — one that supports aspiring entrepreneurs, established business owners, and executive leaders with the structure, resources, and proximity they need to rise intentionally.
