We welcome contributing writers who share our mission to inform, uplift, and transform the narrative around women in business—especially women of color.

Writing Style

SistersRise! follows a conversational, intelligent, and authoritative tone—similar to Forbes Women and Black Enterprise. Articles should be:

  • Clear, direct, and relatable — no jargon or fluff.
  • Educational — offer actionable takeaways, steps, or strategies.
  • Authentic — speak from experience or credible research.
  • Inclusive — represent diverse voices and avoid stereotypes.

  • Brand Mentions: Avoid promotional language. If referencing your business or product, it must provide genuine reader value.

Rights & Ownership

By submitting your article, you grant SistersRise! Magazine the non-exclusive right to publish, edit, and distribute your content across our platforms. You retain ownership of your work and may republish it elsewhere after a 30-day exclusivity period, with attribution to SistersRise! Magazine as the original publisher.
